Every answer keeps its evidence type. A list is not a flora. A map is not a walkover. A nursery name is not the Australian Plant Census.

Observed

Recorded in the field at the subject place.

Documented

A source contains a relevant record. This does not necessarily establish occurrence on the exact subject site. Absence from the record is not absence on the ground.

Mapped

Shown on an authoritative spatial layer intersecting the place — remnant regional ecosystem, cadastre, a park polygon. Graphical, not a legal survey, unless that is what the layer is.

Expected

Associated with vegetation mapped at the site. An ecological association, not an inventory.

Modelled

Predicted by a model or spatial product rather than directly measured in the field. Climate reanalysis is not a BoM station. SLGA is not a soil pit.

Inferred

A reasoned interpretation from other evidence.

Unknown

Not established. Unknown is better than invented.
